This issue tends to happen specifically when I am holding down Ctrl + W + Space, meaning I am running and jumping at the same time. Sometimes what will happen is the game will suddenly quit full screen mode, becoming a small window in the center of my screen and stay that way. Other times it will return to full screen mode. Most of the time, after the full screen glitch has calmed down, I will have issues immediately afterward where the game and entire computer will not recognize input of the Ctrl button on my keyboard. I can hold Ctrl + W and I won't even move forward sometimes. Other times I will just walk forward without running.
In an attempt to fix this issue, I have tried the following:
- restarting my computer (everything on my computer was working fine and my keyboard was working again but when I started playing Minecraft again the issue came up again and keyboard input was affected once again)
- updating all drivers
- reinstalling keyboard and monitor drivers
- updating graphics card
- downloading and installing all available Windows updates (I'm running Windows 10)
- and even reinstalling Minecraft
I don't believe it is a world corruption issue because this problem occurs in other worlds than the one where I first noticed the issue. I was using Optifine at first but I tried running the game without Optifine and the issue persisted. I have come to a dead end so I would appreciate any help at all.
I can try and record video of this happening if required but I can't predict when it will happen. It seems to be completely random and spontaneous.
