Since the 1.17 update, when I use a shovel on some sand or dirt blocks, they don't break properly. Some of them disappear and drop a block, but if I walk into where they were I get stuck and shake until I can move away from them. If I attempt to dig the place where the block was, it reappears. Then I can dig the block normally. I can also break them normally if I use my bare hand.

The glitch is not consistent, as in blocks will sometimes break normally and sometimes glitch. This happened repeatedly while trying to dig some dirt and sand blocks on a small island. It did not happen when digging dirt and gravel blocks underwater a chunk or two away. At this time, I have not carefully experimented to find out exact conditions that trigger the glitch.

      Steps to reproduce:
      1. Use shovel on dirt or sand blocks above water.
      2. Attempt to walk through where block was.
      3. Get stuck in invisible block.
      4. Move chaotically until invisible block releases you.
      5. Use shovel on invisible block, and watch block reappear.

The attached photos show a patch of sand after I hit four blocks with the shovel and again after hitting the area some more. Note the block in the front center that has reappeared.
