After installing 1.17, my entire game from the main loading screen to the hotbar to the interfaces of furnaces were completely glitched out. Items were merging and the durability of other items in my inventory were showing up as completely broken despite having more durability. The textures of mobs (squid pictured) were merging with other mob textures that were in the vicinity (there was a creeper near the squid, thus the squid adopted a creeper-like texture). Animations for smelting items in the furnaces weren't showing up and my whole hotbar was messed up when nothing was in it, such as health and hunger. I was never able to see either or see any of the underwater bubbles. I saw a different report about a similar issue, and they resolved it as outdated graphics card drivers, but I don't have a graphics card and ran 1.16 perfectly fine. This issue only began for me after updating to 1.17.
