Updated to 1.17, Loaded my world in and my skin has changed the the Alex skin. Closed the game and selected my skin from the Minecraft launcher. Loaded my world again and my skin reverted back to the Alex skin. Tried to load my world with the Steve skin and it just keeps loading the Alex skin. I have tried a number on skins and worlds in 1.17 and they all get reverted back to the Alex skin. This issue does not happen in 1.16. Please help.
