I'm working on a texture pack for my friends, and I changed the loading screen texture (assets\minecraft\textures\gui\mojangstudios.png). This changed its appearance in Optifine 1.16 just fine.

However, I wanted to see the logo on the new black backdrop colour 1.17's Monochrome Logo feature has to offer, but when loaded in 1.17 Release Candidate 2, the official Mojang Studios logo texture overrides it. This was true when I turned Monochrome Logo off too.

Loading into Vanilla 1.16, I realized that this issue persisted into this version too. Is it supposed to be possible to have a custom Mojang logo in Vanilla Minecraft or should I just wait for the Optifine team to release a 1.17 version?
