The bug
MC-226702 was not completely fixed. Whether or not preceding commas are used before "Inc" in the names of 4 companies is still inconsistent. Additionally, whether or not "Inc" is used at all is still inconsistent for Insight Global. I believe I have now found every example of this issue (in 1.17 prerelease 5) and they are listed below.
- Apex Systems
- Lindsey Schaal and Chris Barrett's parenthetical company names say "(Apex Systems Inc)".
- Mark Hershberger and Keiko Ramer's parenthetical company names say "(Apex Systems, Inc)".
- C2S Technologies
- Shae M. Flanigan's parenthetical company name says "(C2S Technologies Inc)".
- Amy Bernhoft's parenthetical company name says "(C2S Technologies, Inc)".
- Design Laboratory
- 15 employees' parenthetical company names say "(Design Laboratory Inc)".
- Mangal Srinivasamurthy's parenthetical company name says "(Design Laboratory, Inc)".
- Insight Global
- Evelyn Collier's parenthetical company name says "(Insight Global)".
- William Harmon and Li Yang's parenthetical company names say "(Insight Global Inc)".
- 71 employees' parenthetical company names say "(Insight Global, Inc)".
- Elizabeth Batson's parenthetical company name says "(insight Global, Inc)". (See
MC-227239.)
Expected Behavior
Every time the name of a particular company appears in the credits, it should look exactly the same as every other time the name of that particular company appears in the credits.
To reproduce
Either watch the credits and look for the above examples, or just open credits.json and run searches for the names in the above examples.
