I have a pretty tough computer that has 8GB of RAM. The game was pretty smooth in the earlier snapshots.

The game crashes frequently whilst playing the game. It is very tough to play Minecraft for a long period of time without the game crashing.
This can be recreated by first breaking an entity and then sprinting around the world.
