If you have bone meal in your primary hand and seeds in your off hand well looking at a tilled dirt block if you hold right click to spam plant the seeds / bone meal them and then occasionally press left click to break the wheat when fully grown the dirt block will slowly gain breaking progression until it eventually breaks
