With Fabulous! graphics mode activated, some smoke particles from the campfire can be seen through fog or lava.

It could be WAI for the fog, since the idea of these particles is that they should be visible in the distance. Whether or not that is the case, the problem here is that not all smoke particles are working in the same way.
