I've been invited to this server along with a few others, it's an SMP, limited players, there are 100% plugins involved, as when someone joins it says "[User] Joined the game".
However, when I try to join this server (It doesn't affect other people), I can join, move around, open/close doors as normal but when i break a block, the block does not drop. I can also place blocks, but sometimes the breaking/placing of blocks isn't registered (extreme lag basically). I can type and send a message in chat but it's extremely delayed, and I can only send up to TWO messages before I get kicked, but I can see other people's messages. I can't open/close chests, that's also extremely laggy, I can't hit people but people can see me move etc. I only stay in the game for maybe 30 seconds before I get kicked along with a message saying "Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host" with, obviously, an option to try and reconnect and another to return to the server list. I can try to reconnect but the same happens again. The odd thing is, is that I have played fine on this server before and it happens on no other server.
I'm using a mojang account, I have yet to migrate to microsoft but I prefer a mojang account to a microsoft account.
I'm not sure if it's a plugin thats preventing me from joining and playing or if it's 100% my computer or internet.
I have reset my router, computer and minecraft/lunar client already and it still doesn't work.
This server is in 1.16.5, Java edition of minecraft. Could I get some advise on how to fix this?
