The bug
When you immediately repair an Iron Golem after it takes damage when it was at full health, it sometimes doesn't play a hand animation. However, it will play a sound.
How to reproduce:
- Have an Iron Golem that repeatedly takes damage, such as placing an Iron Golem on magma blocks
- Hold iron ingots in your hand
- Either spam right click or press right click 2 times per second with the right timing
Sometimes the Iron Golem will repair with sound, but without the hand animation.
Note
You can use my attached resource pack (pack format 22 for 1.20.3 MC-225232.zip), which mutes all hit sounds and replaces the repair sound with a unique sound.
Reproducing this with a tick rate of 10 makes it easier to see.
