I was walking along my world, when I discovered what I can only describe as an area that was unlit.

What I expected to happen was when I put down a torch I thought it would light up and go away all together.

What actually happened was a bunch of mobs were able to spawn right there, due to it being dark. I did not trigger this bug, as It just happened to spawn when I was exploring.
