The Bug:
The world border is not affected by the fog from powder snow, lava, water, or the blindness and darkness effects.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Summon a large area of powder snow by using the command provided below.
/fill ~1 ~ ~1 ~25 ~4 ~25 minecraft:powder_snow
- Set the center of the world border to your current position and also to fifteen blocks wide by using the commands provided below.
/worldborder center ~ ~
/worldborder set 15
- Enter the powder snow and look closely at the world border.
- Take note as to whether or not the world border is not affected by the fog from powder snow, lava, water, or the blindness and darkness effects.
Observed Behavior:
The world border is not affected by the given fog.
Expected Behavior:
The world border would be affected by the given fog.
