      So the story is:

I wanted to play Minecraft on my friends' server. The server lagged and crashed quite frequently over the last 2 days but I think it's not the issue here. I connected to the server, but while the client was connecting I thought "nevermind, the server is gonna lag af, I'll play some singleplayer" and I left the "connecting" menu, the world hasn't started loading yet. I opened my main singleplayer world and noticed that the sun jumps from one position to another. I opened the F3 menu and the day count jumped from one to another along with the sun. That's where I recorded this video:

I then left the world and connected back to the server coz I thought that maybe the lag won't be that bad after all. And what I saw was a death screen - I was killed by a spider. What's more interesting is that the server day count was equal to one of previously mentioned values from the linked video. I think what happened is I was present in both worlds at the same time.

If there's anything more I can describe, write back. I'll be happy to help improve Minecraft.

      Regards

PS: I do realize it's difficult to reproduce
