      Reproduction steps:

      1. Grow a glow berry vine from the ceiling down to just above lava surface
      2. Enter the lava and from the side look up at the underside of the lava where the glow vine hitbox will be.
      3. With a glow berry in hand right click on the vine.

      Expected Behaviour:

The glow berries will fail to extend the vine.

      Actual Behviour:

The vine does extend, breaking the lava source block and is then immediately destroyed. Lava coming from adjacent source blocks shows flowing animation so lava source has been destroyed.

I replicated it in a creative world without adjacent fluid blocks and it just destroys the block (images attached). It looks that the vine was destroyed when the fluid from adjacent blocks try to fill in the space.

Tested with water and the same thing occurs, glass panes however stopped the vine from being clicked so looks like it's likely just fluids.
