The Bug:
Chunk border outlines are not affected by the fog from the blindness and darkness effects.
This also affects the fog from powder snow, lava, and water, but this issue is a "Won't Fix" as stated in MC-220523.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Enable chunk borders by pressing "F3 + G".
- Give yourself the blindness effect by using the command provided below.
/effect give @s minecraft:blindness
- Observe your surroundings.
- Take note as to whether or not chunk border outlines are affected by the fog from the blindness and darkness effects.
Observed Behavior:
Chunk border outlines are not affected by the given fog.
Expected Behavior:
Chunk border outlines would be affected by the given fog.
