Switch yourself to survival mode and run the following command until you die:

/summon minecraft:falling_block ~ ~5 ~ {BlockState:{Name:"minecraft:pointed_dripstone",Properties:{vertical_direction:"up"}},FallHurtMax:40,FallHurtAmount:2,HurtEntities:1b,Time:15,DropItem:1}

Notice how upon being killed the death message is "Player was skewered by a falling stalactite", even though the actual falling dripstone's orientation was upwards, making it a stalagmite instead of a stalactite.
