      The Bug:

      The green nausea overlay no longer renders.

      Steps to Reproduce:

      • Go into your options and turn distortion effects off, in order to see the green nausea overlay. (Options > Accessibility Settings > Distortion Effects : OFF)
      • Give yourself the nausea effect.
      /effect give @s minecraft:nausea 100 1 true

      →  Notice how no green overlay appears.
