Mobs do not attack players on the same team, but piglin, hoglin, zoglin, and piglin_brute do.
/team modify <teamname> friendlyFire true / false
Neither usually attacks, but only they do.
Also, not only players but also mobs will fight each other.

Magma cubes are not hostile, but take damage when approaching.
