Summary: Launcher functionality issues with Optifine when running with non-bundled runtime java versions.
What is working and what's not working:
- Launcher only works when Optifine is used with bundled java runtime.
- Launcher doesn't load game and sometimes freezes when trying to use alternate java versions with Optifine
To put it simply, the game with Optifine works when using the provided java that comes with Minecraft, but doesn't work when using any other version of Java.
