      The Bug:

      Pointed dripstone can get cut off or generate floating when intersecting the generation of mineshafts.

      Here is an example:

      Version: 1.19.3
      World Type: Single Biome, Dripstone Caves
      Seed: 2340008501797118353
      Coordinates: /execute in minecraft:overworld run tp @s 11985.26 0.73 378.60 241.44 40.50

      Steps to Reproduce:

      1. Generate a world with the world type and seed provided above and teleport to the given coordinates.
      2. Look closely at the generation of the mineshaft and how nearby pointed dripstones intersect it.
      3. Take note as to whether or not pointed dripstone can get cut off or generate floating when intersecting the generation of mineshafts.

      Observed Behavior:

      Pointed dripstone can get cut off or generate floating.

      Expected Behavior:

      Pointed dripstone would not get cut off or generate floating.
