In Minecraft 1.16.5 I cant find a single biom in the Nether.
What I expected to happen was...:
With the Nether-Update in Minecraft 1.16 the Nether recieved multiple new bioms. These bioms are locatable via comand console. Also we should be able to find them on our own, since they should naturaly spawn in the Nether. I wanted to find such a biom in a world, that I also played before Minecraft 1.16 came out. I havent seen any other biom in the Nether ever, but I have Piglins and Striders in my world, so i figured the update was successful. I now wanted to find one.
What actually happened was...:
By simply walking around I was unsuccessful. So I tried to locate one via the comand /locatebiom. When I then reached the destination I found nothing, it was just the normal nether-wastes-biom. I thought, that it may have been above or below me. So i dug up and down only to hit bedrock soon. I then proceeded to teleport myself with the coordinates I recieved from the /locatebiom-comand. The first time I tried this I ended up inside solid netherrack and died. I did it again and dug myself out before I died. But when i dug around in all directions I only found more netherrack. The second time I tried it with a different biom and therefore different coordinates. I ended up teleported above an enormous lava-ocean and died. I then opend another world I played before Minecraft 1.16 came out. I tried to locate and teleport myself to a bioms, but it ended the same way.
A Friend of mine tried it with her own worlds and ended up with the same results. In worlds that were created after 1.16 came out, the bioms generated. In worlds created before 1.16 the bioms are missing.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Begin a world in a Minecraft-version before 1.16
2. Enter the Nether in this older versiom
3. Update to 1.16 and visit the nether again to see, if you can find the bioms.
