Minecraft Java does not open at all when I double click it, or right click and press 'Open'. It shows the loading cursor for half of a second, then to disappear and not open. I have tried re-downloading both the application and the Launcher, I have tried pressing repair in the launcher, and I have even went to YouTube tutorials and done things such as changing the compatibility to Windows Vista and logging in again, then changing it back to Windows 8, but it still doesn't even open the Windows Vista version. When i first bought Minecraft Java it worked for about 5 days, and after that stopped working all together, and I have tried everything from tutorials to even doing things from my own knowledge. At this point I do not know what to do.
