My brother runs a Java server now on release 1.16.15
The server is located in Milton, Ontario, Canada
I am located near Lisbon, Portugal.
Over the last two years I have been able to connect to his server without issue and have spent quite a bit of time building castles and cools stuff in his survival world.
On Feb 3, 2021, something changed.
My connection ping is 4 bars, between 125-150ms (not great).
However, when I connect to his server, everything works fine, no obvious lag, UNTIL I DIE.
Once I die and my player is reborn it becomes unstable - mobs are frozen and when I break blocks they simply disappear and cannot be picked up.  And then like 30-60 seconds later I get the dreaded all encompassing: Internal Exception: java.io.ioexception.   Disconnecting, reconnecting doesn't make a difference.  From that point forward logging in to the server will result in the same scenario, mobs frozen, broken blocks leave nothing to pickup and 30-60 seconds later ioexception.    However, if another player with a better closer connection to my brother's server connects, or if the server is restarted, then my session goes back to normal.  My session will continue to function for hours even without issue, until I die, then the issue arises again.
