The bee animation stops

I trapped a bee in a 1x1 air block .I thought that the bee would always has an animation

The bee animation stops if the bee is in a 1x1 air block

1. You build 1x1 cage
2. you summon a bee in it
3. After about 10 seconds the bee flying animations stops
