I have set up some beehives (I understand it's not the most efficient nor beautiful setup) and whenever I travel a few hundred blocks far from them and return, the bees have disappeared. I have noticed that it is not happening all at once, but rather every time i return the number of the bees occupying the beehives have been reduced dramatically.
