If you look closely to undyed terracotta and to some dyed terracotta, you will see a tiny difference. The texture of the undyed terracotta almost looks like texture of stone before the Texture Update. You can see the lighter spots being in splotches on the dyed terracotta. The undyed one has straight lines.
