in basics, this is a client side issue i would like help with. i also cant produce this report without placing a version.
The first issue of this was in my 1.8.9 version world, you might say its a mod thats effecting this, but i haven't used a mod in months other than optiFine. I was making plans for a house, i built a net of a house out of wood and logs, and i hear grass footsteps as i am crafting an axe to collect wood, i exit the menu in time for the creeper hissing to start and fade and hear the footsteps come closer, i figured i could lure it into a water hole. once it fell in i saw nothing but heard a splash and left to get wood knowing it would despawn. The second time was in the nether, still in 1.8.9 and i was fighting pig en for exp due to having mined all the quartz, and I'm being hit with a pigman's force, i could not hit it, instead i ran, left the world and rejoined and there they were, this time i could kill it, and i just went back to enchanting with my 31 levels. This third time proves its client side part. This time i am in the nether again, in 1.16.4 i find a bastion, whilst raiding for gold im hit hard with an invisible golden axe, its a brute, but they're invisible, to prove it wasn't some projectile i hold up my shield and im hit, and the shield is disabled, i cover myself in planks and rejoin again, instead of one now appearing, there were three of them all outside my little box wielding axes. I would just like to be able to rid this problem before i get killed by some invisible charged creeper. sorry for the long text i just wanted to give context. also the attachments would be useless, these mobs are invisible
