When you throw your fishing rod, attempting to retract it works perfectly, but there is a visual bug where the texture doesn't return to the normal fishing rod until you switch hotbar slots or pick up the fishing rod in your inventory. Also, if you switch over to the slot with the fishing rod, it will return to the bugged thrown texture.

The image attached shows the fishing rod in its retracted state. The enchanted glint doesn't change anything.
