I can launch Minecraft in small screen/windowed mode then go in full screen, but whenever I try to launch it in full screen (like, start it up in full screen) it crashes mid-way through the start up/launch
there are temporary fixes for this, such as launching an older version (E.g: 1.0) before launching the version that has the full screen feature. but that is just a temp fix and it is really annoying to use and it doesn't fix the issue when you try to use a third-party client like Lunar Client for example
this issue didn't happen when I had windows 7, but when I updated to windows 10 it started happening
I have the latest version of Java, I have my drivers updated and I literally have everything that is required/recommended to play Minecraft updated
I also tried uninstalling the game (along with the launcher) and it didn't work
I tried to change my monitor's resolution and it also didn't work
I tried using an external monitor (I use a laptop) and it didn't work
also, this affects every version of the game (other than those that didn't even have the full screen feature) but I can only choose 1.16.4 or 20w51a so I chose 1.16.4
