In naturally generated village structures, like the snowy tundra mason's house, carpets are generated in front of the doors. This prevents villagers from entering due to their height, rendering the structure and workstation unusable for them.

Similar issues have been reported for older versions and have been marked as resolved. The issue, however, is still present in the game.
