I played Minecraft (release 1.8.9-OptiFine_HD_U_L6_pre1) on a public server when I was trying to find the location, where minecraft saves the player skins, you have. I accidentally changed something in the launcher with the skins and after that, my minecraft game (it was open in the background) didn't respond anymore. When i tried to close it, it didn't work. Then there were other windows popping up, that said like "Java platform SE doesnt respond." When I clicked the button to stop minecraft, that window disappeared, but minecraft was still running without responding. Then, I closed all the other windows and logged out on my computer. After I did that, I had a blackscreen. I also couldnt stop my computer by pressing the button on it (physical). Eventually, I forced it to turn off, by pressing it for several seconds. After I started my computer again, everything was normal.
