The bug

When dying while using a spyglass and /gamerule keepInventory is set to true, the spyglass overlay remains.

How to reproduce

1. Set /gamerule keepInventory to true
2. Obtain a creeper spawn egg, as well as a spyglass
3. Enter survival mode: /gamemode survival
4. Use the creeper spawn egg at the block beneath your feet (so that the creeper spawns at the block you are standing on), and then switch to the spyglass and expand it
5. Die (if you don't die, repeat those steps)
   Notice how the death screen keeps the spyglass overlay
