      I have the official Minecraft Launcher installed through the AURs, and since I installed an update a few days ago, the launcher crashes on startup. When run through the terminal, the program stops with the following reason:

      terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::logic_error'
        what():  basic_string::_M_construct null not valid
      Aborted (core dumped)

      So I tried to delete my .minecraft directory, which didn't help at all. The launcher creates  this log:

      [Info: 2020-11-24 18:50:50.926416766: LauncherMain.cpp(84)] Initiated models
      [Info: 2020-11-24 18:50:50.926580676: NetQueue.cpp(232)] NetQueue: Setting up.
      [Info: 2020-11-24 18:50:50.926706009: LauncherMain.cpp(217)] Running launcher core (version 2.1.17785)
      [Info: 2020-11-24 18:50:50.932136112: LauncherMain.cpp(230)] Initialization completed
      [Info: 2020-11-24 18:50:50.932524329: LauncherMain.cpp(253)] Main process: true
      [Info: 2020-11-24 18:50:50.932621396: LauncherMain.cpp(300)] workDir: .../.minecraft
      [Info: 2020-11-24 18:50:50.932664282: LauncherMain.cpp(308)] appDir: .../minecraft-launcher

      and just stops there. I tried to install the launcher through the web with the .tar provided on the website and various 3rd-Party Installers from the AUR, but they all throw the same errors. I have currently no way to access the game or even the launcher.
