Killing an enderman holding fire may cause it to drop ender pearls, but it will not drop an item equivalent to fire (like for example how seeds are equivalent to crops, berries to bushes, etc.) if killed, unlike with other held blocks. This is almost certaintly due to no item being directly assigned to fire. A fire charge would likely be the best match for this, given that it places fire on right click and is consumed in the process, identically to blocks.

To reproduce:

1. /summon minecraft:enderman ~ ~ ~ {carriedBlockState:{Name:fire}}

2. Kill it and note nothing drops
