I have noticed that when loading up a brand new Floating Islands world, amethyst geodes still appear, which is cool, but they... don't exactly appear underground.

I've seen about 9 in this world floating at random depths, some even above the top level of the floating islands, and after only moving approximately 300 blocks away from spawn in any given direction.
