As far as I know, this bug affects at least 1.16.4, when you sleep in a bed below an end portal, and you don't have any other place to wake up other than in the portal, you enter the portal and get teleported to your relative overworld coordinates, rather than the obsidian platform. You can see in the screenshots that I actually got teleported into the void.
