i just did some expirements with the new snapshots and saw that you can put one candle on a cake and when clicked again, you eat. so, out of curiosity, i tried to put another candle in survival, but with my hunger bar full. the candle jumped of as expected, but i didnt eat the cake and didnt place the candle, so what happens is i duplicated candles without any cost
