If you place any candle on a cake and have full hunger then the candle will still come off as if you have eaten some of the cake, but the candle also stays on the cake therefor multiplying into infinite candles!
can be recreated by:
Placing a candle on a cake in survival mode and while at full hunger right click the cake and it will duplicate
