Hello, so I have had this problem for some time now–coming up on 2 years with no fix. In the past my laptop could support Java:MC just fine. Everything worked great with hardly any lag and rarely any crashes. However, about 1.5-2 years ago, I don't remember how it started, my Minecraft all of the sudden stopped working. The program itself wouldn't open and it would just buffer for hours, so as any reasonable person would do, I uninstalled it. After uninstalling, I restarted my computer then reinstalled it, which only fixed part of the problem. The program would successfully open, but now when I click [PLAY], nothing happens. Sometimes it takes forever to load and other times it doesn't, but the result is always the same. It says that there is already a game running and provides me with that entire caution warning. I looked up several times to see if there were any resolutions for the issue, but there hasn't been a single fix that has worked. Many said to uninstall/reinstall, others said make sure your computer has enough space, some even said to buy it again. I tried everything except buying the game again. I went to the Minecraft.net website and looked at the hardware requirements for the game to make sure that my computer was still compatible, which it is. My computer has Windows 10 and it follows all of the recommended requirements from the RAM storage to the CPU data. It follows it down to a T. I have PC Matic Shield Security protector so I know my laptop doesn't have any viruses, so I don't know why my computer doesn't work with it anymore. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm convinced that the issue is with the hardware of my laptop. It doesn't make sense to me though because I'm not reckless with my computer. Anyways, this was my plan Z, so if no one on here can fix it, I assume it's my computer. I've provided the system data for my laptop and a screenshot of my task manager with the Game Open Error message.
