When a shulker opens and if there is a shulkerbox close by placed (or even in your inventory/ creative inventory) it will copy the movement of the shulker. Also you cannot access the shulker box when it does this. If a shulker is not there you can open the shulker box, but it is still in the open animation. However when a shulker is spawned it copies its movement.
