While exploring in a new world on survival mode, I spotted a village spot marked with roads and piles of hay bales. After gathering the hay bales, I realized there were no houses anywhere. I switched to creative mode to check and sure enough, there is only the path blocks and no buildings at all.

Also, there were some zombies already on the roads on my way over, who died by the time I got there from the sun. I found this strange as it was the middle of the day and these were new chunks, and no open caves. I'm wondering if this is some kind of bugged out zombie village? I didn't get the chance to see if the zombies were normal or villager ones before they died.
