The bug
Standing inside 8 layers of snow does not suffocate the player, even though soul sand has the same hitbox size but does cause suffocation.
How to reproduce
- Switch into survival mode: /gamemode survival
- Fill the area surrounding yourself with 8 layers of snow:
/fill ~1 ~ ~1 ~-1 ~2 ~-1 minecraft:snow[layers=8]
No suffocation damage is taken
Expected behavior
The player would take suffocation damage when standing inside 8 layers of snow.
