I was playing 1.8 the other day and it hit me just how much more consistent placing and picking up water in 1.8 was compared to the latest version. Many times when I pick up water in a bucket, the bucket icon changes from empty to full and I hear the water noise but when I go to place it no water is placed. These "ghost water" bugs are very prominent in the latest version and I've seen them happen to speedrunners in videos and on streams before. Hope this will get fixed soon!
