While working on a project on my world using Stonebrick Walls, i was curious on how many i have built. I checked out the statistics and couldn't find Stonebrick Walls, which i found odd as i had crafted a lot of them.

I finally discovered that the game said i had never crafted any and then went to craft some in a crafting table and the value for amount built went up to 12. So i tested out the stonecutter and found that it never increased this value. (photo shows that i made 12 walls but used them over 800 times)

I tested this with Cobblestone walls and found that if using the stonecutter it doesn't increase the value of how many you made but once you made some in the crafting table it would then increase the amount made from the crafting table and the stonecutter at once

Example:  make 15 cobblestone walls in stonecutter - Doesn't increase the statistic

make 18 cobblestone walls in crafting table after using stonecutter - increases                        statistic by 33
