Mob behaviour
The bug
When a mob has the levitation effect, if one has a lead attached to it, the mob can sometimes "ignore" the lead and continue flying upwards, while the lead is still, visibly, attached to the mob. In that case, the lead disappears at some angles of the camera.
How to reproduce
- Summon a mob, e.g. fox.
- Execute
/effect give @e[sort=nearest,type=minecraft:fox,limit=1] minecraft:levitation 300 0 true
- Right click the fox using lead.
- Unleash and leash again when the fox is at the maximum height allowed by the lead. The mob might levitate continuously.
