Tutorial Toasts keep resetting when changing between Versions even after setting tutorialStep in the options.txt (which should be persistant across verisons in which Toasts are used) to "none".

      reoccurring when:

1 - switching between Versions using the Vanilla launcher. it never happens when using third party Launchers. (MultiMC or Forge to name a few.)

2 - Starting new Worlds' or joining new Servers

3 - returning to a world or server after an extended time. without changing versions

      4 - after Launcher updates.

Evidence? - as theres a number of speciffic  actions which cause these. To Many to Document

      Possible Fixes

      1) Toasts should only rely "Clientside settings." Joing a server should Never override a players personal ingame settings other than when performance related.

      2) Unlikely but has to said!! Ditch the Whole Toast Messaging.

it's an unwanted addition and an annoyance.

      3) Make it Easier to Disable within the Launcher. you currently have to goto "AppData\Roaming\.minecraft" and edit the Options.txt file manually.

      4) Add an option to disable toasts in "world creation settings." i can't be the only one who hates toasts poping up whenever you pickup a block, learn a new recipe or earn an achievement you earned in other world(s) a million times before.

Currently the only way to get rid of the Toasts (on World by World Basis) is to use the

      /Achievement Grant <player> everthing

      and

      /recipe Grant <player> everthing.

even then you have to "Cheats Enabled" or if your on a Server the "permissions to do so"

its even worse when it comes to servers for Moderators / Staff. to a point that there plugins (for third party versions. Spigot, Sponge, Fabric to name a few) to run the above commands on a players first join.
