Since version 1.9, players can't connect to my server and would always get an "Unknown Host" error.

The address for the server is germancraft.network

This has nothing to do with the DNS entries on that domain. To verify that, I created the same DNS-entries on another domain with a .de-TLD. Joining the server was now possible again. Connecting directly via IP of course works seamlessly, too.

Connecting directly with 1.8.9 works fine, anything higher than this version immediately shows "Unknown Host". Also, using "www.germancraft.network" works on all versions just fine.

Another test showed, that this bug only applies if a SRV-record for minecraft (minecraft.tcp.germancraft.network) is present.
