I cannot connect to my friend's online server (private server, IP adress) after using a different laptop. Other friends do not have any issue connecting.

The server is on update 1.16.1 and I am using that launcher, I did not have any issues with this until I used a different laptop (both laptops are Windows 10, fully updated). I could only pick 1.16.2 in the Affects Version. 

I tried:

• Reinstalling minecraft
• Reinstalling Java
• Turning off firewall and antivirus
• Friend logged onto my account and could connect
• Logged onto friend's account but I could not connect to the server with that account either
• Connected to a random server and had no issues
• Network remained the same after using a different laptop
• Had contact with Minecraft Community Support, but they did not know anything else than the above
