Problem
Due another ticket MC-173526 all types of minecarts no longer survive in lava.

This breaks a range of minecart contraptions like secret doors overwhelmed by lava and our very own rollercoaster design.

As you can see in the attachments, we used a mechanic in where the minecart is pushed forward by sticky pistons with slime blocks. While traveling midair the minecart falls into the center of the pool. As of 1.16.2 the lava is destroying the minecart, thus breaking our coaster.

Solution
As a solution we propose that the minecart survives if a player is still riding it. If not the minecart is destroyed.
